Washington, D.C. (January 4, 2009) -- WBAL-TV, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, is now producing its local newscasts in High-Definition. The switch to high-def came yesterday, according to the station's web site. WBAL is the second station in Baltimore to switch to HD newscasts.
