| Has worldwide recognition in the areas of coastal engineering, numerical modeling, data collection, and analysis, fate and transport of chemically contaminated sediments. We develop technical information and then apply the most advanced techniques to obtain the best solution that solves or mitigates the problem. The Coastal Sciences, Engineering and Planning division provides coastal processes, coastal oceanography, ecological and pollutant transport assessment services. The Aquatic Environmental Assessment division provides consulting services in monitoring assessing and restoring pollutant-impacted environments. This group focuses on hydrocarbon fingerprinting and other non-standard chemical analyses as tools in environmental assessments. The Environmental Laboratory provides risk-based, specialty and compliance based analytical services. The oceanography and Measurements Systems division focuses on real-time marine environmental information systems which support drilling, and ship board operations for oil companies, port and harbor operations, weather and ocean forecasting, and coastal resource management. The International Projects division specializes in marine management, and technology transfer. |
